Shahrukh Uses His Personal Accessories in My Name Is Khan

Shahrukh Khan will wear his personal accessories in My Name Is Khan.

Unlike Salman Khan, who used his personal bracelet in some of his films because he thought it was lucky for him, Shahrukh Khan has never used any of his personal belongings and accessories in his movies. But, with Shahrukh using his personal watch and more specially his wedding ring in his forthcoming film My Name Is Khan, this is going to change now.Disclosing this recently, Karan Johar, the director of his next film My Name Is Khan said, “Normally, Shah Rukh doesn’t wear accessories but since the watch and wedding ring is part of the narrative and his character in the film, he agreed to use both of them. It’s his own wedding ring that he’s wearing for past some time.”

Shahrukh, when asked said that its not the question of his personal belongings but in general he does not use any accessories in his movies unless and until it is absolutely necessary. As Shahrukh himself puts it, “I do wear accessories in films when designers tell me to but only if it’s absolutely necessary. Otherwise, meri acting hi mera gehna hai.”Whereas among the accessories the ring was easy to get as Shahrukh used his personal wedding ring, the watch wasn’t that easy because the demand of the film was a special watch, which was made somewhere around 1920’s. Since it was not easy for Karan Johar to access such a watch, Shahrukh asked the makers of a watch company, whose product he endorses, to gift him a special watch that he has used in the film.So, even if its just two items, you will get to see some of the personal accessories of your favorite star, when he uses his watch and his wedding ring in My Name Is Khan. Look out for them when you go to watch the movie.
