After an initial period sometime in 2008, when most Bollywood stars had tried to understand and appreciate the problems, which the producers and distributors faced during the economic slowdown, it seems the situation is back to square one. Last week, there were first alleged reports of problems between the director of Ghajini AR Murugadoss, who is said to have had some problems with Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision over the fee that he wanted to charge to direct a film and then there were reports that the South Indian actor Siddharth of the Rang De Basanti fame refused to be a part of Delhi Belly because of the same reason.Now, reports say that the name of Aamir Khan has got added to this list as he refused a film being produced by Farhan Akhtar because, the latter was not willing to pay what Aamir had asked for to be a part of the movie.

There is a buzz in Bollywood that the noted producer Ritesh Sidhwani recently met Aamir Khan with a proposal to do a film to be produced by the banner jointly owned by Ritesh and Farhan.Since Aamir Khan is a good friend of both Ritesh and Farhan and is also said to have liked the basic storyline of the film, he agreed to be a part of it. But, when it came to finalizing the deal, Ritesh Sidhwani is said to have backed out saying, “Aamir had certain demands, which were not acceptable to me.”

Though, Ritesh did not take the pain to explain what exactly those demands were, but insiders point out that Ritesh wanted Aamir to reduce his fee but suffered a set back when Aamir refused to consider this option.Ritesh and Farhan are highly upset over this stubborn attitude of their good friend Aamir Khan. Though Ritesh has denied such reports but reports now suggest that talks are on with Shahrukh Khan for the same
