Dulha Mil Gaya

Vivek Vaswani's Dulha Mil Gaya, is finally ready to hit the screens. This Sushmita Sen Fardeen Khan starrer which stars Shah Rukh Khan in a special appearance, is set for a release on July 3.But it seems that the film may clash with Boney Kapoor's Salman Khan starrer Wanted, which has been directed by Prabhudeva. This film had been held up due to Salman not allotting dates for it as he preferred to concentrate on the historic saga Veer. But it seems that Salman has allotted dates for the film's dubbing making Boney a very happy man indeed. Vaswani too is a happy man, now that his film, which was two year in the making is finally on the verge of releasing. His movie had been held up due to his insistence on having SRK doing a special appearance. The superstar was first busy with Om Shanti Om, then there was the IPL, first season. Anyway, the superstar finally allotted dates for the movie, but ending up injuring his shoulder in the bargain. Even though there is another song sequence which is to be shot, Vaswani is confident it will take no time. So, it seems that it is all's well that ends well for both producers, But the only problem may be the fact that both movies are set for a clash at the box office. According to reports, Vaswani is willing to shift his release date if Boney requests him.

Following on the footsteps of Welcome To Sajjanpur, director Shyam Benegal was directing another comic satire called Abba ka Kuan, whose name has now been changed to Well Done Abba. Well Done Abba is being produced by Big Pictures and stars Boman Irani in a double role, Minissha Lamba, Sammir Dattani, Ravi Kishen, Salim Ghouse, Sonali Kulkarni, Rajit Kapur, Yashpal Sharma, Ravi Jhankal and Deepika Amin. According to reports, the veteran director has wrapped up the film's final schedule, which was shot in Ramoji Rao City in Hyderabad. The film's music has been composed by Shantanu Moitra, who has collaborated once more with Swanand Kirkire, who has written the lyrics along with Illa Aruna and Ashok Mishra, who has also written the screenplay. Illa, who had a very loveable cameo in Welcome To Sajjanpur, will also be acting in the film. According to sources, the film has been inspired by two short stories which have been adapted for a film treatment by Jayant Kriplani. Paris based cosmetic giant wants Esha Deol

Esha Deol has not been seen around after the debacle of her last film HIJACK starring Shiney Ahuja alongside. Industrywalas have been left wondering where she has disappeared. But our sources have found out that she is very much in Mumbai, cooling her heels at her new house in Goregaon where she is put up with her mom, actress Hema Malini and sister Aahana. A close pal of Esha has now also revealed that she is being considered as the brand ambassador of a Paris based cosmetic giant. Reveals the close pal further, ''To compete with famous International cosmetic brand L'Oreal which has star brand ambassadors such as Aishwarya Rai and Sonam Kapoor, a rival cosmetic giant wants to rope in an Indian face that has a well toned body, is young and has got a good height. Esha fits the bill perfectly and the deal between is under negotiations now. When things get finalized a proper media announcement shall be made with a big event taking place in a Mumbai. Esha meanwhile is busy working on the interior decorations of her new house and is avoiding going to the parties and film events.''27 years old Esha now only has one film on hand, Aditya Datt's CHAI GARAM opposite Govinda and Sunil Shetty. Of all the roles the one that she is really looking forward to is HIJACK, directed by Kunal Shivdasani in which she plays an airhostess and has for company Shiney Ahuja. Esha says that initially she thought that playing an airhostess would be easy but since her role was very powerful, it took some efforts to get the desired performance. Esha adds that Kunal and Shiney too have worked really hard. She is hopeful that the film, being an action thriller like DHOOM and DUS, would definitely appeal to the audience.
