On one hand, it revived the sinking career of both Abhishek Bachcha Johan Abraham, Priyanka Chopraby giving them a uch-needed hit; it also established the fact that the two can also perform well in light hearted films with complete ease. It also turned out to be a boon for both the producer and the distributors, who made huge profits with the success of the film. So, everyone was expecting Karan johar to immediately announce the sequel of the hit movie.Going by the principle of better late than never, sources close to Karan Johar have now revealed that he has finally taken a decision in this regard and the announcement of the sequel of the movie is going to be made in a couple of days.

If that doesn’t surprise you, hold on because contrary to what you are thinking, the much expected announcement of a sequel is not the real news. The unbelievable news as per sources is that though both Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham are going to be part of the film, they are not going to be taking on the character of gay couples in the film. In fact, sources point out that apart from Abhishek and John, Karan is also planning to sign Riteish Deshmukh and Shreyas Talpade and it would be these two, who will be depicting gay characters in the film.Sources in Dharma production are very excited about this film. They point out that what makes the proposed film interesting is that unlike Dostana, where both Abhishek and John were not really gay but only pretended to be one, Riteish Deshmukh and Shreyas Talpade will actually feature as gay couples in the sequel.

May be, that’s a trick to attract attention towards the movie. You may recall that with news coming out before the release that both Abhishek and John were only pretending to be gays, the curiosity about Dostana had reduced. May be Karan doesn’t want to commit the same mistake this time and is portraying Riteish Deshmukh and Shreyas Talpade as a gay couple to increase people’s curiosity about his film.
